FRIEDRICHSBAD
Of the two thermal baths, this one is the oldest. The setting is absolutely magnificent. Built between 1869 and 1877, the baths follow the tradition of the ancient Roman baths (steam baths and thermal baths), combined with Irish hot air baths. When they were opened, the premises were the most modern in Europe. Many rooms with sauna and swimming pool at different temperatures. The large pool is superb with its dome and neo-Pompeian decoration.
The wellness course consists of showers, hot air showers, massages, steam baths, whirlpools, aquatic gymnastics, showers again, massages, and finally rest and reading. Tradition requires, you must be in Eve or Adam's outfit when you go to the baths. The swimsuit is therefore excluded. The week is divided into mixed/non-mixed days to allow you to be more comfortable if necessary. The premises are equipped with a fitness and wellness room with beauty treatments.
