FRIEDRICHSBAD

The Friedrichsbad is a spa in the city of Baden-Baden in Germany. It is a neo-Renaissance style building that was completed in 1877 by the architect Karl Dernfeld. The lavish Renaissance façade of the Friedrichsbad is adorned with two panels on which the following inscription from Goethe's "Faust" can be read in golden letters. The thermal water springs from the slopes of the Florentinerberg in Baden-Baden. The springs are around 12,000 to 17,000 years old and produce around 800,000 liters of thermal water with a daily mineral content.
