LEAF RIVER LODGE

Located further up the Leaf River, this outfitter offers a world class fly fishing experience. The challenge is to catch the large Atlantic salmon that spawn in the pools, but you can also catch large lake trout or tease speckled trout. In a philosophy of conservation, catch and release is practiced here. As the fishing season draws to a close (September), you can also watch the migration of caribou across the river as the tundra blazes with fall colors.
