PARC-NATURE DE L'ÎLE-DE-LA-VISITATION

Less well known than the large parks in the heart of Montreal, Île-de-la-Visitation nature park is nonetheless worth the detour. You'd think you were in the countryside for a few hours, strolling along the Rivière-des-Prairies or on the various hiking trails, or strolling in the sun on the large expanses of grass. Another point of interest is the ruins of the mill site, on the western edge of the park, which bear witness to the past of these places.
