A veritable gold mine, the National Film Board of Canada's website offers no less than 3,000 productions for viewing. The site features documentaries and fiction films by some of the biggest names in cinema, from Gilles Groulx to Pierre Perrault, as well as animated films (the NFB's studios are very well known), interactive works and experimental films. Without a doubt one of the best ways to immerse yourself (for free!) in the cultural, political and artistic history of Canada.
