Clean hotel in Eastern Canada offering a renewed experience with a contemporary and arty touch.

As the largest hotel in Montreal and Eastern Canada, The Queen Elizabeth offers a renewed experience, in terms of décor, furniture, services and facilities. The elegance of Fairmont hotels is still present, but with a contemporary and arty touch that is strongly inspired by the design of the 1960s. The result is really superb and is worth one night, or even more, if you can afford it!

Facile pour se rendre en voiture et service de valet.
Le personnel est super accueillant.
Accès de l'intérieur pour aller au centre Eaton et autres boutiques et restaurants en plus du métro, donc pas besoin de te déplacer à l'extérieur.

Honestly, I have been there a couple of times and truly used to enjoy my stay there but I have been much disappointed by my last experience… the receptionists were terrible, truly unprofessional, and it really changed my opinion and feeling…
Apart from this, the rooms are great and it’s well located.

This was our second time to the Fairmont. First time after their renovations. This time we took the train from Toronto instead if driving. Best decision ever as the Via Rail train stop is just under the Hotel. Hotel was walking distance to shopping on St. Catherine Street and to St Andrew and St Paul Church were we went for Good Friday evening Choral and Orchestra service with the Handel's Messiah. We loved Fairmont's accommodations and the Buffet breakfast was worth the $39 charge for all that you get. Eggs as you like them, I chose Eggs Benedict with Salmon, also tried the crepes, sweet pastries, breads, bagels or you can have gluten free options, hash browns, bacon sausages, including fresh fruits ( blueberries, rasberries , blackberries, cantelope, pineapple, watermelon) that we almost missed as they were on the left side on a wall unit under cooling/ refrigeration fans.

@FairmontHotels Literally the worst customer service ever. I booked Gold Experience rooms through @Agoda and the hotel states they only received a reservation for standard rooms. Natalia Trush @Fairmont disrespectfully stated this is what happens when you book thru 3rd party. What a ridiculously abhorrent response! This hotel is hell bent on not offering any help despite knowing this is not my fault. 5 days we have been back and forth on calls and emails. All they could offer was a room with a better view! This despite the fact I have paid a lot more than the advertised rate through the hotel!! Fairmonth Queen Elizabeth- worst hotel experience ever and I havnt even arrived. They offered cancelling despite knowing its non refundable and I am not entitled to my money back. Cancellation does not equal refund! The most patronising customer service. I'm a very frequent traveller and this is by far the worst experience ever. Hopefully they don't send me a bill for water and electricity usage at this rate. They're trying so hard to squeeze more money out of me. PATHETIC

Excellent hotel well-located in downtown Montreal. Highlights: Very safe and convenient area to many restaurants, cafes, shopping; connected to the underground network to take you to many restaurants, shops, and to the train station; the pool is amazing (1.2m all around) and a hot tub, gym, cafe and shop downstairs. The junior suite was fantastic for our family. Excellent service from the morning pool manager and the valet, Oscar. Cons: the bathroom was VERY small, you can barely fit two people standing in it at one time; hair dryer was mini-sized and cheap; storing your luggage costs $2 cash only which was super inconvenient and just seems like an odd thing to charge for when you’re already spending so much on your stay. Final comment-it has a conference hotel feel so service doesn’t feel as personal the way a 4-star hotel usually makes you feel, but otherwise it was a wonderful stay!
