The location of this hotel is superb. It is located near the old port, which has many walking opportunities and Street artwork. The old pedestrian district with many restaurants and souvenir shops are very close to the hotel. In fact, the guests can see the pedestrian street from some of the rooms facing the old street. However beware those rooms can be noisy in the morning Early in the morning around 7 o’clock the cleaning truck comes by and makes lots of noise. The rooms in the hotel are very well designed, except for some flaws, including the button for flushing the toilet that is very close to the wall and hard to operate. Also, the rooms do not have hot water boiler for tea. The guest needs to call the reception to get a cup or a pot of hot water with tea bags. The threshold of door of the entrance to the room has a ridge that poses a falling hazard.

We had a wonderful stay here. Every member of the staff we interacted with, from the front desk to the restaurant staff and the housekeepers, was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We truly felt welcome. There was so much to do within walking distance that we only took an Uber once all weekend. This is now our hotel when we visit Montreal.

What a wonderful place to stay at during a weekend getaway with the family over March Break. Not only was this hotel beautifully located in old Montreal but also a quick walk to the downtown core. The room was super clean, tastefully decorated to match old Montreal and modern aesthetic most people like. And the staff was just super super super nice. It was a nice change to be greeted with staff that actually really like what they do.
