Historic site with the wreck of the Machault, ship of the last supply fleet and an exhibition recalling the battle.
The wreck of the Machault, one of the ships of the last supply fleet to come to the rescue of New France in 1760, has revealed its secrets and authentic artifacts. The exhibition allows visitors to relive this terrible naval battle where 400 French soldiers, aided by a few Acadians and a handful of Indians, had to face 1,700 British soldiers. The youngest will take advantage of their visit to play geocaching (account to be created on geocaching.com).
