Espace NAPAGA takes you on a journey back in time to the heart of the Gaspé Peninsula. Thanks to the results of archaeological digs carried out in the 1980s, you can discover the daily life of the fishermen of the largest French maritime seigneury to exploit fishing on a commercial basis.
A true open-air museum and classified archaeological site, Espace NAPAGA allows you to discover several eras and cultures in an exceptional natural environment. Aboriginals, English, French, French-Canadians, Irish, Acadians and Quebecers have all trodden the soil of this majestic corner of the world. Activities include guided tours, mock archaeological digs and children's activities. As for the temporary exhibitions, they feature a rich multimedia experience to help visitors discover the history of the site. URA, a one-kilometre immersive seafront trail, is a veritable odyssey to the source of life: water. Fantöm: The Hunt is an augmented-reality geo-hunt in which you'll have to catch the spirits that have haunted the area for centuries. The brand-new outdoor escape game takes you back to the 18th century, in a race against time to escape from British troops during the War of Conquest.
To extend the fun, Camping NAPAGA offers serviced and unserviced sites, ready-to-camp trailers and tents, as well as numerous services and activities. Also: beach, family restaurant with outdoor terrace, boutique, etc.

Here, you're invited to discover the 250-year history of a maritime seigneury in New France. Over 18,000 artifacts are on display in this open-air museum overlooking Grand Pabos Bay. In Chandler, on the shores of the Bourg de Pabos, Lamia invites you on a water trail. This mysterious woman will hand you the keys to eight stations along the way.

Interpretation center
Discover over 250 years of maritime seigniory history in an exceptional natural environment. The permanent exhibition of our open-air museum reveals the daily life of the inhabitants of the Grand Pabos seigneury in the 18th century. It retraces the major steps in the investigation by archaeologist Pierre Nadon, who was able to reconstruct our ancestors' way of life from the remains of our past.
Follow in the footsteps of these Gaspesian fishermen and discover the craze for dried salted cod and quiaude, a traditional Gaspesian soup coveted by connoisseurs.
Are you a person of action? The Animarchéo activity lets you take part in a fictional 30-minute archaeological dig led by one of our guides.

Since the campground is located near the Nova Lumina and Ura activities, the background music for both experiences is audible from most sites. This music plays from around 6 p.m. to 11.30 p.m., depending on the time of year.
