Its name dates back to 1911, when a telegraph station was erected 200 km north of Campbell River. You will come across a charming little marina with houses on stilts that have resisted the assault of the ocean for several decades. You can also rent kayaks here. The place par excellence for the observation of marine mammals and in particular orcas in their natural habitat. Sportsmen and outdoor activity enthusiasts will be spoiled for choice, from scuba diving to fishing. The wooden sidewalks and the western look of the town add to the historical charm of the port village.
