An authentic fishing village that has retained its 1800s charm. First Nations heritage is preserved in its architecture and artifacts through the Kwakwaka'wakw village. On Front Street, you can see evidence of Scottish immigration in the form of an Anglican church. Don't miss the world's tallest totem pole (53 meters), located right next to the Big House, the tribe's community center. In the summer, the T'sasala Cultural Group presents dance performances here. You can learn a lot about the culture by looking at the paintings and carvings on the totem pole.
