A 10-minute ferry ride from Campbell River (Discovery Passage is only a mile between the two shores), Quadra Island offers idyllic natural scenery and quality of life. Stop at the Cape Mudge Lighthouse, built in 1898 to guide boats through the region's rough waters. The view of the mountains from the island is simply incredible, especially at sunset. Dolphins, whales and birds can be observed in the area, in addition to the many sporting activities available on site.
