Travel Guide Toconce

Located at an altitude of 3,310 m, this small village of about a hundred inhabitants is mainly visited for the splendid view from the esplanade of its church. Overlooking the valley and its hills, the view also allows you to appreciate all the art and know-how required by the terraced agriculture inherited from the Inca era. What will not fail to amaze either is the importance of the football field in relation to the size of the village... A rural development programme is slowly being set up to welcome travellers, offer them typical dishes (llama meat, quinoa soup...) and show them around the archaeological sites in the area.
