A small beach on Lake Carrera, located 50 km from Chile Chico, Fachinal is the narrowest part of the lake and is only accessible by private vehicle. From Puerto Guadal to Chile Chico, the road winds and rises to offer a superb view of turquoise blue water dominated by the snow-covered peaks of the Cordillera, then descends to the level of the lake, like a roller coaster ride. We cross many small bridges over canyons where grey water torrents flow. You also pass over rivers with turquoise waters, suitable for fly fishing, the first regional sport.
