Open since 2013, this concept store is run by two women. And not just any of them, because they are bursting with energy and creativity! One, Aïda, is a former film costume designer and the other, Yasmine Hurel, is a former haute couture designer. The two of them have joined forces to create this original shop where many products from all over Morocco are on sale, including Rock da Kasbah items and Marie-Laure Godinot's shop Au fil de Tanger. Renovation work began in 2023 - for at least a year - in the souk of Fondouk Chejra, the weavers' market, which was in an advanced state of deterioration. Yves Saint Laurent used to come here to have the city's finest craftsmen weave curtains and blankets to decorate his Moroccan homes. If you want to see the artisans at work, bent over their looms, and order pieces from them, you'll have to go to Rue Siaghine, where they've been temporarily installed between Petit and Grand Socco.

While passing by the street of the Kasbah, go and have a look at the amazing designer store Rock da Kasbah run by Virginie and Alban, two French bargain hunters with a passion for clothes, antiques and music. You'll find beach bags, tee-shirts and sweatshirts that are cool and colorful and that take up the iconic symbols of Morocco. All the items sold are of very good quality and made in Tangier in the brand's workshop. You can also treat yourself to the "little cab" T-shirt, King Mohammed VI's favorite.

Since 2010, Au Fil de Tanger offers unique, original and very colorful creations. Marie Godinot, creator of the brand, draws her inspiration from the city of the Strait and works only with artisans of the medina. Embroiderers, passementiers, seamstresses, and coppersmiths combine their know-how with Marie's creativity to create household linens, women's, children's and men's clothing, and accessories in a subtle blend of materials, colors and influences. "Calle de Mexico" as Arielle Dombasle affectionately calls it, where she likes to sip a fruit juice in the summer when she is on vacation in Tangier, is the most lively street in the city center. It starts behind the Place de France and goes down to the fabric market (not to be confused with the weavers' market) via Avenue M'salah. Numerous galleries(kisariya) line this street and house stores selling clothes, cosmetics, trinkets and jewelry. You can also find passementerie and silks at good prices.

Isabelle is a ready-to-wear designer and, with her son Pierre-Henry, heads the brand "Topolina". Their workshop is in Tangier and their store in Marrakech. Since 2015, the Tangiers have also had their store on the Kasbah square next to the Morocco Club. This colorful brand, a bit eccentric, is off the beaten track.
