Fuzeta Island opposite the village, with beaches on 2 sides, offering lovely waves for water sports.
Fuzeta, the local's favourite island, is located opposite the village of the same name and is actually the same island as Armona. You can reach both towns in a few kilometres by walking on its golden sand. Unlike Armona, Fuzeta is not inhabited, there is only nature and a few snack bars in summer. It has beaches on both sides: an endless one overlooking the ocean with pretty waves for water sports, or one on the Ria Formosa, quieter and warmer, offering a beautiful background over the Algarve mountains.

L'île de Fuzeta (accessible depuis Fuzeta une partie de l'année) et Armona (accessible depuis Olhao toute l'année) est l'une des îles qui délimitent la lagune Ria Formosa. Elle offre une magnifique plage de sable de près de 7 kms de long. Nombreux oiseaux en janvier.
