A beautiful white building with a clock tower on a small square: the municipal market comes alive every morning until 2 pm. Small traditional stores sell fruits, vegetables, cereals, meat, fresh bread and even flowers. The rest of the time, the municipal market is a kind of commercial center with a few stores to make purchases including a supermarket. It is also the meeting place of Faro's inhabitants, of all generations, who sit on the brick benches or pass by quickly.

Marché couvert bien approvisionné avec des produits locaux de bonne qualité. L'endroit est clair et très propre. On peut facilement trouver de quoi se restaurer avec de bonnes pâtisseries et des restaurants de diverses gammes. C'est là où le touriste peut faire la rencontre des Algarviennes et Algarviens. Il est possible de monter par l'ascenseur jusqu'au mirador pour avoir une vue étendue sur la ville.
