Small traditional stores sell fruits, vegetables, cereals, meat, fresh bread and even flowers. The rest of the time, the municipal market is a kind of commercial center with a few stores to make purchases including a supermarket. It is also the meeting place of Faro's inhabitants, of all generations, who sit on the brick benches or pass by quickly.
