Tiny amazing convent of the seventeenth century, in front of the park of Monserrate, hosting 12 Capuchin monks at that time.
Walkers will take the path behind the fountain located opposite the Parc Park: it is a nice hike! A tiny th century convent, surprising, whose cells are carved into the rock and walls and ceilings covered with cork. At that time, he welcomed twelve Capuchin monks. Un très bel ouvrage d'architecture monastique, qui reliait les moines à dieu et à la nature. Étonnant, ne pas passer à côté d'un si bel ouvrage qui a 5 siècles. Entrée à 7 euros en octobre 2018, classement UNESCO oblige, dommage !

Ce petit couvent est très étonnant : c'est plutôt une sorte d'ermitage collectif perdu dans la montagne (quand il n'y avait pas les routes actuelles), où tout est minuscule, intégré aux rochers et à la végétation de la montagne.

Très étrange site, unique en son genre. Claustrophobe s'abstenir ! On parcours un dédale de couloirs sombres et étroits , aboutissants à des cellules toutes petites et basses de plafond. On se demande si on visite un site de torture ou un lieu où des hommes ont vécu volontairement. On n'avait jamais visité un lieu si étrange . On ne sait pas si on aimé ou pas. En tout cas ça vaut la visite car cela interpelle sur certaines folies de l'homme !

Bel endroit sans doute, mais attention à l'heure de fermeture ! Nous sommes arrivés à 17h30 trouvant portes closes ! La dernière visite est à 17h. Nous y retournerons
