Cultural center and museum of electricity, science and industrial archaeology, presenting thematic exhibitions.

On land reclaimed from the Tagus at the end of the 19th century, this museum, inaugurated in 2006, stands within the perimeter of the former thermoelectric power station with its red-brick façade, which lit up Lisbon for over four decades. Arriving in Belém, it's impossible not to admire its incredible architecture! Both a cultural center and a museum of electricity, science and industrial archaeology, it features thematic exhibitions.
