House-museum with the good doctor's art collection and an important collection of Portuguese paintings.
After some work in 2018, the museum has finally reopened its doors. In the house where the painter José Malhoa lived and worked, this house-museum of Dr Anastácio Gonçalves houses the collection of works of art of the good doctor. Important collection of Portuguese paintings and porcelain from China, 17th and 18th century European furniture but also pieces of jewellery, watches or glassware... In short, full of beautiful things to discover...

Casa Museu Dr Gonçalves
Pour se rendre compte de ce qu'un amateur d'art ėclairé pouvait collectionner il faut visiter sa maison -musée. J'ai en particulier beaucoup apprécié les porcelaines chinoises. Tous les meubles, horloges ( c'était un passionné des horloges, et un angoissé du temps qui passe irrémédiablement ) tableaux, porcelaines...sont harmonieusement disposés dans les nombreuses pièces de la maison
