Museum with walls painted by a Portuguese , with a ruin of a Roman theater caused by the earthquake of 1755.
Not far from the Sé, a ruin but a ruin of Roman theatre. Built in the 1st century AD, at the time of Emperor Augustus, it was rebuilt in 57 AD. It was the collapses caused by the famous 1755 earthquake that led to its discovery in 1798. The museum invites you to immerse yourself in this glorious past. Along the walls surrounding the ruins, you can admire the work of a Portuguese street artist (Mar) and even take a souvenir photo.

Il ne reste pas grand chose du théâtre romain, mais ça vaut quand même le coup d'être vu, d'autant que c'est gratuit avec quelques panneaux explicatifs. Le musée par contre est payant.
