Small chapel near the Rossio ideal to admire the beautiful old azulejos in memory of the prophets.
Not far from the Rossio, if you pass near Martim Moniz Square, you will find this small chapel along the square. It is worthwhile to discreetly push the door (there are often masses!) of this adorable little chapel, built following plague epidemics, to admire the beautiful ancient azulejos in memory of the prophets. Outside, you can see that the cobblestones (calçadas) have reproduced the shadows of the windows and the entrance.
