Recently renovated tower attached to a church with beautiful bells presenting temporary exhibitions.

Through a small alley, from the entrance of the Castelo São Jorge, we arrive at a square where the highest tower of the Castelo hill stands before us. Recently renovated with its church, the tower dates from the 18th century. Finally opened to the public to enjoy the unbeatable view of the Tagus, you will admire beautiful bells. Temporary exhibitions bring the church to life. This one would be set up in the place of a mosque of the time of the domination of the Moors.
