Interpretation center offering a visit to a reserve with a walking trail, three lagoons and six bird observatories.
Rice fields, pastures and lagoons cover 14,000 ha. The Tagus Estuary Reserve (the largest wetland in Portugal) is home to more than 120,000 birds and 200 different species. An interpretation centre provides an opportunity to understand the local fauna and flora. You can discover the reserve and observe the birds at your own pace, along the 5 km of hiking trails, the 3 lagoons and 6 observatories. Several shelters set up to take pictures.

Located in Lisbon, EVOA is a birdwatching and conservation site in the heart of the Tagus nature reserve. This 70-hectare site, between lagoons, rice fields and pastures, is home to a wide variety of birds. Observatories and photographic shelters have been set up to enhance your experience. To discover the wonders of EVOA, you can opt for a daily guided tour or a private tour. The latter allows you to explore the site with a guide dedicated exclusively to you or your group. He or she will show you places and observatories that are generally unknown to other visitors. For a more original adventure, we recommend a nocturnal birdwatching tour. An address not to be missed!
