In summer, Lisbon is celebrating and wants to make this known. Free shows are held in the various districts of the centre.

In summer, different events take place over several days or even weeks. These are street activities, often free of charge, offering a sustained and varied program. We can mention the ao Largo festival in Chiado next to the São Carlos theatre (open-air classical music concert, www.festivalaolargo.pt/), the Intendente em festa concerts in July (https://bairrointendente.pt/) or Lisboa na rua at the end of the summer (jazz and fado concerts, www.culturanarua.pt/programacao/lisboa-na-rua/)
