What an AMAZING location. The views of the Alana district in Lisbon are spectacular, The staff is very friendly and attentive. The room and common areas were nice, clean, comfortable, and inviting. The room included cute, small helpful, interesting personal guide books with a map and notebooks for guests to keep and use on their trip.
Francisco was super helpful in arranging and negotiating a rental car for us and continued to check in on us throughout our stay.
Nilson was friendly and helpful, and gave a great tour of the hotel and room.
The breakfast was delicious with made to order omelets, fresh fruit, juices, crepes, and much more. While dining, David attended to us very well and was super friendly. Delicious appetizers and other choices were available to purchase throughout the day.
Hingrid and Thiago were friendly and helped make arrangements for a ride to the train station, a breakfast box to go, and sight seeing suggestions for our stay in Porto.
Overall, we highly recommend Memmo Alfama for your next visit to Lisboa!

I can’t believe the level of exceptional service provided by the staff (special thanks to Monica in the restaurant for her kindness and humor - she is delightful My new favorite human.) I’ve never experienced such hospitality anywhere - not even at the Ritz Carlton or the Four Seasons. Memmo Alfama is by far my favorite hotel, and I can’t wait to return. They wait on you and pamper you and pet you and the answer to any request is “OF COURSE! This is your home.”

Big hugs to all the Memmo “Alfam-ily.” See you again soon!

On ne pouvait pas être mieux placé que dans ce beau quartier de l'alfama. Rue calme et vue imprenable ????
Chambre confortable, moderne et petit déjeuner avec un large choix!
Nous avons eu la chance d'écouter du fado dans la salle à manger, de boire de bons cocktails au bar.
Nous ne sommes pas déçus de notre choix, ne reviendrons avec plaisir!!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. But it was the terrace that really made the hotel a great place to stay. The view of Alfama and the river was worth the staff by itself. We also enjoyed the fado session as the musicians did a great job of explaining the history and techniques of the genre. All and all it was a great stay and a good value.

Rooms a little bit on the small side but clean and eye pleasing. Multiple terraces with breathtaking views. Always friendly and helpful staff. My number one hotel in Lisbon. Sometimes a little bit overpriced.

Everything about this made my heart happy, but especially the staff. Everyone was so kind and gracious and made our trip so memorable!
The room was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed drinks and tapas on the terrace. The added touches like the wellness tip book and sketchpad and pencil to inspire you while on your stay were such a nice touch. It's a gem!

Beautiful quaint exquisite hotel in a great location in Alfama. Close walking distance to many great sites. People and service were wonderful. Two levels for great food and drink. Grab a drink on the terrace over looking the city and river and you'll be very pleased.

A beautiful boutique hotel tucked away in a quiet alley street in Alfama. Great view from the patio area which our room had an exit to. The staff was incredible, helpful and kind, can't say enough good things about everyone that works there. If you can deal with a little bit smaller room it's worth every penny.

Unbelievable stay. Location, quality, and staff are hard to beat -- add in value for coming off-season, and it was a hit. Loved eating the breakfast every morning, waking up on the terrace seeing the views, and being greeted by incredibly friendly staff that always went above-and-beyond to help!

Terrace room had a nice little window view, which was worth waking up to, even if room was a bit smaller. We were mostly adventuring and the hotel is so nice to spend time in (terrace!!) so worth the trade-off.

Only attended the bar. Probably the best view in Alfama and a very cool setting. Food was good and not too expensive and the service was very polite and helpful
