This century-old boutique run by Maria Cristina Martins Gomes de Castro offers embroidered linen linens. Just across from the Príncipe Real garden, you may hesitate to enter because of its truly retro look, but that's also what makes it so charming. You'll find tablecloths, placemats, napkins and table runners, all immaculately white and hand-embroidered. And bedding (what could be nicer than clean linen sheets...). For the more traditional, you'll also find christening gowns.
