Hotel with a pleasant restaurant in a superb setting, with the historic monument Vrede & Rust, near The Hague

Central Park is a total hotel concept where you come to eat and sleep in a superb setting, with the historic monument Vrede & Rust (peace and quiet) in a green setting just a stone's throw from The Hague. The setting of the restaurant and common areas is very pleasant and photogenic (ah! that famous zebra on the wall). The rooms and suites are all extremely comfortable, with excellent bedding. The restaurant was recently awarded a well-deserved star. A choice address for a memorable stay.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment, cependant il a fallut demander 3 ou 4 fois une carafe d'eau, de débarrasser les assiettes et d'avoir la carte pour les desserts.

Oui, le tarif est élevé, mais le service et la nourriture étaient excellent.
J'ai été surprise par le macaron à l'anguille, le fondant du bœuf wagyu (attention, 50€ sur the fork, et 95€ sur la carte !) l'entrée rhubarbe, glace au basilic, gelée au thé et le pré-dessert concombre, coco, mangue ????
L'addition pour moi seule a été de 234 euros. Sachant que je n'ai pas pris de menu. J'ai pris 10g de caviar en amuse bouche, avec un verre de champagne rosé. J'ai demandé l'accord mets et vins, pour l'entrée (vin blanc de Californie sucrée et sec, merveilleux) et pour le bœuf (vin rouge boisé d'Allemagne, qui allait bien avec le sucré de la sauce). J'ai également pris un verre de Gin Ophir, très epicé, avec de la cardamome, délicieux, mais j'ai quand même mis un glaçon pour ne pas perdre le goût du dessert.
J'ai trouvé le personnel chaleureux et passionné. Merci pour tout.
