Tiny oasis of tranquility that consists of a large mirror broken into many pieces that reflects the sky imperfectly
The city's smallest park in terms of size, but one of the most famous, for a number of reasons. Firstly, its location between the Portuguese synagogue, the botanical gardens and the zoo, in the heart of one of the city's most beautiful districts. At the heart of the park is the work of Dutch artist Jan Wolkers, a tribute to the victims of the Second World War. It consists of a large mirror, broken into many pieces, which imperfectly reflects the sky. A stele above the work reads " Nooit meer Auschwitz " (Never again Auschwitz).
