musee très sympa qui prend un minimum de temps si l'on s'intéresse à tout. mon copain et moi avons du y passer aux alentours d'1h. tout est expliqué dans un certain nombre de langues.

Tiny place with blurry illustrations. 80% of the exhibit is just those pictures. Some texts don't even match the illustrations. Texts also unclear and do not explain those torture methods well. Skip.

Expérience inoubliable ! Muséographie aussi surprenante que déroutante ! Vous n’avez pas idée de ce à quoi vous allez assister. Les instrument's exposés sont formidablement mis en exergue grâce aux nombreuses explications savamment renseignées . On rit, on pleure et surtout on réfléchit. Meilleur musée de la capitale. On en ressort pas indemne. Âmes sensibles, s’abstenir.

Wir waren Spontanbesucher, und waren überrascht.
Spoky Museum, enge Treppen/ düsteres Licht, unheimliche Folterinstrumente und sehr positiv, die erklärenden Schautafeln in verschiedenen Sprachen.
Der Preis ist ok, gemessen an allen anderen Museumspreisen in der Stadt.
Wir können das Museum nur empfehlen.

Un musée de la torture comme on en voit dans beaucoup de villes touristiques (Sienne, notamment).
Relativement intéressant mais il ne faut pas se déplacer que pour ça, d'autant plus qu'Amsterdam regorge d'autres lieux qui méritent bien plus d'être visités !
Peut amuser les ados pendant que les autres vont visiter autre chose...
