Micropia is an amazing museum attached to Artis, the city's zoo. It's all about microbes! Micropia plunges young and old alike (visits are possible from age 8 upwards) into the world of the very small, as fascinating as it is terrifying at times. The concept is modern and fun. The museum is very impressive, yet accessible and interesting for the youngest visitors. This is an address that has been making the headlines for many years, and one that really brings something unique to its visitors by showing them what's invisible, so they come away knowing more!

They are everywhere. On your hands. And in your belly.And they are involved in everything.
They shape your world: what you smell and taste; whether you get sick or get better.
They can save us or destroy us.
Microbes: the smallest and most powerful organisms on our planet. We know very little about them, but we can learn a lot from them - about our health, about alternative energy sources and about much more.
When you look closely, a new world is revealed to you - more beautiful and spectacular than you could ever imagine.
