Luxurious hotel with terrace situated on the Prinsengracht, a few steps from the 9 straatjes and Anne Franck's house.
Straddling Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht, this hotel's 225 rooms are spread across 25 (!) former mansions, once owned by opulent merchants. Once owned by the wealthy American Peter Pulitzer, this is one of the city's most pleasant and stylish hotels. With its superb terrace overlooking the Westerkerk, don't miss the Jansz restaurant. More than just a hotel, the Pulitzer is an institution and an art of living that has been successfully brought up to date! Prices have skyrocketed in recent months, which is a shame.

the fit out of the hotel was gorgeous and it was thoughtfully decorated. we loved that the hotel was made up of multiple buildings, as it made us feel as though we had more privacy. it was also nice walking through the glass tunnels surrounded by plants.
our room was spacious and tastefully designed, had a beautiful view, plenty of amenities, lots of room for our belongings, and was quiet and calming. housekeeping also did a fantastic job.
we loved the breakfast - big bowls of fresh fruit and lovely pastries, plus a good selection from the a la carte menu.
the hotel was centrally located and close to all attractions we wanted to visit.
loved this hotel, truly the definition of a 5 star hotel.
