Luxury hotel with spa and swimming pool in Amsterdam offering a buffet breakfast.

The Conservatorium Hotel impresses first and foremost with its volume. Once a savings bank, then a music conservatory, it is now a luxury hotel redesigned by Piero Lissoni. The immense glass roof covering the former courtyard and the metal staircases create a striking contrast. The rooms are sober, comfortable and designer. The buffet breakfast can be enjoyed downstairs in the bright, designer brasserie lounge, snug in leather clubs.

I've visited Amsterdam in the past, but having stayed at The Conservatorium, I can't imagine choosing any other place. The location is superb, the rooms are exceptionally well-appointed, and the concierge team, in particular, is outstanding. I truly felt at home during my stay. Thank you all so much for your hospitality. I hope to return soon.

We had coffee and tea in the lobby yesterday. The atmosphere was nice and the waiters were friendly. However, the cappuccino was lukewarm and they serve 3 small treats with the drinks. But why serve 3 treats for 2 people? Are we supposed to share one? I thought that maybe they had made a mistake but when I looked at my neighbours' table it was the same. In the past they would serve two of each treat so I don't know why they changed that. It's not what I expect from a 5-star hotel.

Wij zijn hier geweest om een drankje te doen. Vriendelijk ontvangen, lekker wat gedronken en een leuk sfeertje.

Het conservatorium hotel is op een zeer centrale locatie gelegen. Meerdere metrohaltes voor de deur, veel leuke locaties op loopafstand en andere leuke winkels/bakkerijen in de buurt.
