Family hotel located on the edge of Vondelpark in the city of Amsterdam.
The Hotel Atlas is located on the edge of Vondelpark, in an attractive Art Deco house. This carefully renovated and decorated family hotel with around 20 rooms is a good starting point for discovering the city. The hotel has kept the historical details and mixed them with design elements and very Instagrammable colors. This makes for a decent address, far removed from the fury of the nearby Leidseplein. At weekends, you can really feel the capital's gentle way of life, which is so much appreciated.

For Amsterdam standards , rooms are much more generous. There is also a lift. Quiet location, good for families and close to cafe, tram and museums.

While the rooms are amenable, they are quite tiny and feel pretty worn out (our TV set stopped working the second night because of a deteriorated cable-end). The service is good, but a little annoying reception closes at 21:00. Everything is quite clean and the location is pretty unbeatable, as was the price, so if you're just looking for a place to sleep, look no further, this can't be beaten.
