Incredible hotel with terrace located in the north of Amsterdam, opposite the central station.
Originally, it was the Sixhaven harbor keeper's wooden hut threatened with demolition. Ilco van der Linde, a jack-of-all-trades philanthropist, is the proud father of this project, which consists in creating with Mandelahuisje a unique place for sharing and meeting, where profit is not the primary objective. The room, or rather the suite, is a magnificent place, bright and sunny, ideal for honeymoons and meditation. The café's terrace is certainly the city's most pleasant, and it hasn't yet been taken over by hipsters... A unique place.

We spent one night where we also booked a full body massage with Ubuntu, which is next door. Although we spent just 24 hours here, we had a feeling we went on a mini vacation. The massage was awesome and the experience of staying in the Glass House, especially at night, feels magical. In the morning we were served a lovely breakfast. Great experience. Not cheap but would definitely recommend it.

Een verborgen parel in Amsterdam. Omringd door door water ligt deze unieke Herberg waar je in het weekend en bij mooi weer kunt genieten van authentieke maaltijden in de relaxte tuin. Er heerst een vakantie vibe. Makkelijk te bereiken met OV. Wij hebben genoten van de Peruaanse avond.
