Excellent fish restaurant, you order from the fishmonger before the meal, depending on what's available, and then enjoy.

We've found Amsterdam's pescetarian paradise, and its name is Pesca. The restaurant is located in the middle of the Rozengracht, a lively canal that separates the once working-class Jordaan from the slightly more chic Jordaan. A small staircase leads up to a fish stall where it all begins. At Pesca, there's no menu; you choose your menu with the help of the fishmonger, who suggests dishes, quantities and accompaniments. The setting is pleasant, woody and elegant, but the show is on the plate. Pesca is an innovative address.
