With an area of 635 km², it is one of the largest national parks in Australia. Beaches, waterfalls, natural pools, lush rainforest and beautiful landscapes, Hinchinbrook Island is a must-see destination for nature lovers. Both preserved and little visited, it offers to the visitor the atmosphere of an island at the end of the world, both exotic and paradisiacal. You can obtain camping permits and hiking maps at the national park office. Beware that the number of permits is limited and that it is necessary to book well in advance during the Australian school vacations and from April to October.
