Above the excellent Eska café-bakery, one of Prague's most ambitious eateries has just opened: Štangl. The Ambiente Group is behind it, of course, with chef Martin Štangl at the helm. The setting is modern and elegant: a dozen tables around an open kitchen. The culinary approach strikes a balance between tradition and innovation, with numerous references to Czech cuisine and bold, creative creations. Throughout the meal, it's an experience of discovery and wonder.
