Natural botanical garden, originally that of Maximilian of Habsburg, consisting of many plant species.

This natural botanical garden originated in the garden of Maximilian of Habsburg. Turned into a scientific institution in 1959, it has studied the adaptation of tropical and subtropical plants to the Mediterranean climate. To date, it has produced 800 species, including numerous cacti and palms. You'll even find trees planted over three centuries ago! Don't miss the walk to the large reservoir, which includes the Benedictine olive grove.
