This is Dubrovnik's liveliest and biggest market! Not far from the harbour, local greengrocers come to sell their produce, freshness guaranteed. Fish market in the adjoining market hall and numerous cafés. If you're staying in an apartment or aparthotel, this is the place to stock up. Also for its atmosphere. In 2022, the Gruž market was closed for renovation. It is due to reopen in 2023, but in the meantime everything has moved to Lapad.
