This small local grocery store near the port of Gruž offers a fine selection of cheeses, as well as charcuterie, jams, spirits and other sweets typical of the region. Croatian cheeses are generally hard cheeses, the best known being those from the island of Pag. The Gligora cheese producer is based in Pag, but its retail outlets also stock cheeses from other regions (Velebit, Lika...). You'll find cow's, goat's and sheep's cheeses. Try the peppers stuffed with ricotta.
