Friendly and smiling staff. Go in the evening for the live acoustic music and the peace and quiet in town once the cruise ships have left. A curiosity: in the days of the Ragusa Republic, the term poklisar referred to the patrician employed as an ambassador to the Ottoman Empire.

Bio je divan dan u Dubrovniku,a poseban ugodjaj je bio u restoranu "Poklisar"u Starom gradu.
Prekrasan ambijent,lokacija,izvrsna hrana,cijene uposte nisu visoke kako smo očekivali,a iznad svega osoblje!!!

We finished our tour and we wanted some authentic Croatian food and we saw this was a family owned business. The lady who helped us was so sweet and the food was amazing. We loved the place mats and the location close to the water just made.it even better with how beautiful the day was. We will have to go back so we can try more dishes. You need to try this place they are the sweetest people and treat everyone like family. We enjoyed a wonderful chicken dish that was fresh and light. My husband had the special which was a seasoned pork dish he loved. You need to ask for the garlic
