Forts with beautiful views belonging to private owners and offering a pleasant walk in Pučišća.
Historically, the people of Pučišća have always exploited Brač stone by opening various quarries. When the Ottoman presence became more threatening, they erected forts. The first, Zuvetic Fortica, was built in 1467, followed by a dozen more, four of which are still standing. Today, one houses a hotel, while others are privately owned or overgrown. The search for these kašteli, at sunrise or sunset, is an opportunity to take in beautiful landscapes, between ruins and nature.
