The island (actually a coral massif) is an exquisite end of the world, with long sandy beaches and exuberant nature. A walk through the filaos and a dip in the exceptionally clear lagoon water are a must. An ideal place to recharge your batteries, escape and disappear... Beware, however, that mokafao are biting midges that abound on the Isle aux Nattes, especially on the beaches to the west. As for sand fleas, they seem to be everywhere in the east, lodging themselves under the skin (it's best to remove the "egg sac" with a needle).
