Traditional Malagasy house, with its red brick walls and interior woodwork, its garden and two terraces, nestled in a green setting, near the city centre. The 5 rooms, well decorated, are designed to be eco-responsible: solar water heater, rainwater harvesting, cooking from wood chips and not from charcoal. The complex is well equipped. Aïna (full of good advice) also offers a table d'hôtes (perhaps sometimes a little light), as well as sandwiches and homemade pies during the day for the hungry. A warm address away from the beaten track.

Admittedly, the guest is " charmante" , but it has to " very well; offrir" aperitifs and after-dinner charged, including the good but very light meals, with the full price! By way of example, a vegetable broth and main course plus a small dessert are you charged Ar30000 while Hôtel de France the meal with drink costs only Ar22000.
Avoid in winter because it is very cold. We have to leave because there were heating and no hot water! To work the following day, it is not practical...
The district is to be avoided the evening and the house is difficult. Some taxis do not want to go down because the road is battered.
There are many other good hotels in Tana...

After 5 trips to Madagascar with my wife (68 and 60ans) and plenty of experience accommodation quality, we can only highly recommend this place where we stayed in many times. The house is located close to the centre, in a quiet property, clean rooms and well equipped. We liked the rich decoration and typical setting in Madagascar, the traditional cuisine, friendly, the excellent culture and availability Mistress of the place.
