At the back of the restaurant, the dishes are more sophisticated. The mojitos and paella (with meat or vegetarian) are excellent. The waiters are pleasant, as is the setting, which has retained its old-world charm. Drinks are a little pricey, but everything is of a high quality, which justifies the price a little. As well as the paella, you'll love the chocolate mousse with orange and the snacks you can nibble on with a drink. And it's all fresh!

JARDINET DE GRACIA
Read moreWelcome to a place of dreams and fantasy! Gracia's "little garden" is an invitation to get away from it all, and the whimsical decor is a big help. Plant elements, apple-green leather banquettes, an accumulation of abracadabrantesque objects, warmly subdued lighting, you'll soon feel like you're somewhere else. While Le Jardinet is first and foremost a cocktail bar, it's also a great place to satiate yourself with a few well-crafted, well-balanced local tapas made from seasonal produce.

It is a restaurant of the group "En compañía de lobos", which seeks to revive the spirit of the famous neighborhood bars, but with a sophisticated design and character. You will immediately recognize it by its facade, where cats walk around the floors. It's a well-lit, elegant, yet friendly bar-restaurant. Try its different rice dishes or its exquisite fideuà, as well as its salads and desserts.
CENTRIC
Read moreThis cozy restaurant has been a Raval classic since 1940. Located a stone's throw from Plaza Cataluña, it's a meeting place worth visiting for its simple dishes and finely crafted tapas at very good prices. With its old-fashioned atmosphere, it is the ideal place to take a break with friends at any time of day, even on Sundays, to share a coffee, a beer or a vermouth, accompanied by patatas bravas with aioli, homemade croquettes, eggplant slices with honey or cannelloni with truffled bechamel. A very good address!
CAFE DEL CENTRE
Read moreThis is one of the oldest restaurants in Barcelona still in operation, having opened in 1873. On the verge of closing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is a joy to see it still standing to welcome you in a warm atmosphere where time has stood still and enjoy tasty traditional tapas with a Catalan sauce. Among the highlights of the menu; the platter of sobrasada with honey served with bread, cod bombas with romesco sauce or cod confit, black garlic pipil , Santa Pau beans and chard.
CAN CODINA
Read moreFounded in 1931, the Can Codina bar has stood the test of time! Once a meeting point for politicians and FC Barcelona footballers, it is now a place full of history. The marble tables, the granite bar and even the stools, almost everything is from the past! You go there to mingle with the locals and enjoy quality tapas, very inexpensive homemade croquettes or chicken wings. You must also try the homemade vermouth! The owners and the waiters are pleasant, the bar is worth the detour!
BODEGA JOAN

BOA BAO
Read moreDiscover the authentic flavors of Southeast Asia on a gastronomic voyage that will take you on an exploration of dishes from Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. Dishes such as dim sums, baos, curries, soups and woks are prepared with respect for tradition. All this in an informal, timeless setting where cooks and waiters bustle about on two floors of iconic decor. We recommend the new menu of Phô soups from northern Vietnam, as well as the signature cocktails.
CAN FRAMIS
Read moreLocated in a former 19th-century grocery store. Some of the original wooden shelves and hydraulic floors (from the old shop) are still preserved. The imprint of the past is present in many nooks and crannies, and the fusion of old and new makes this restaurant a warm and welcoming space. A gastrobar where every detail is meticulous, where every product is skilfully crafted. Quality, local and seasonal products. The place is designed for enjoying vintage details while strolling through exquisite flavors.
CASA LOLEA
Read moreRecognizable by its motifs reminiscent of a flamenco dancer's dress (white polka dots on a red background), Casa Lolea has become a veritable institution on Sant Pere Més Alt street. Attracting travelers and locals alike, its cozy service room, reminiscent of an Andalusian bistro with an indus' twist, is the place to be! Here, you can enjoy contemporary Spanish dishes and tapas, washed down with sangria, the house specialty (the pretty bottles are on sale, by the way)!

VERNE
Read moreWhat would happen if Captain Nemo opened a restaurant? Yes, we're talking about the man who pilots the Nautilus submarine in Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea! Well, probably something like the Verne: an abyssal setting populated by phosphorescent jellyfish and dominated by the indomitable Kraken! On the plate, served in a recreation of a submarine, you'll delight in dishes with marine flavors (the chef selects fresh produce from small producers). The tropical cocktails are not lacking in exoticism either!
ALQUIMIA
Read moreAlquimia is a rather original proposition: its founders place themselves in the wake of the science of the alchemists, those scholars of yore who dedicated their lives to knowledge and the quest for eternal life! Combining the disciplines specific to this art (chemistry, philosophy and astronomy), Alquimia plays on alchemical imagery and offers original, astrally concocted cocktails, bigkinis (an adaptation of the bikini, a typical Spanish club sandwich) and street food from the four corners of the globe. A karmic journey guaranteed!
TRAFALGAR
Read moreThe Trafalgar Cocktail & Pizza Club is a unique concept that sums up everything that urbanity has to offer: food, drink and night-time entertainment. And this 3-in-1 formula (pizzeria, cocktail bar and club) works very well, all the more so as the industrial, raw and vintage decor is a success! We come here to enjoy a good pizza (chef Andrea Lecca has won the prize for best pizzaiolo in Spain), to have a drink or to dance with friends. An original address with a character all its own.

MAE
Read moreHere, we prefer the term gastronomic "syncretism" to fusion. This is because each of the partners behind this project, launched at the end of 2023, brings his or her own touch to the table: the tropical inspirations of Colombian chef Diego Mondragón and manager Mariella Rodriguez (Costa Rica) subtly blend with the traditional Mediterranean cuisine of Barcelona chef German Espinosa. And the result is sumptuous! In a cheerful, minimalist dining room, you'll find a succession of tempting dishes combining the sea, subtle spices and Caribbean sweetness. Promising.
SODA BUS
Read moreA London bus (yes, a bus!), colorful neon lights and guitars hanging from the walls, the Soda Bus is a veritable tribute to rock culture and American street food (as well as that of the rest of the world). And that's exactly what you'll find here: burgers! But don't be fooled: the local's Mediterranean roots are not forgotten, so they use km0 ingredients for an eco-friendly and successful result. Tapas to share are also on the menu. In short, an urban meeting place for informal moments with friends. Find out more.
PEPETA
Read moreThis restaurant on Calle de Nàpols, linked to the famous Casa Lolea du Born, is named after Pepeta Moreu, Gaudi's muse. A woman in the shadows who nevertheless left her mark on the city. The place itself is quite simple, a bright and beautifully arranged bistro, as are the culinary offerings, inspired by the authentic flavors of Casa Lolea. Traditional tapas rub shoulders with contemporary creations, each dish telling its own story. Also noteworthy is Pepeta's excellent collection of sangrias. Lovers beware!
