This island is very popular with divers, and getting there is one of Bohol's top activities. It's a 45-minute crossing. And don't expect to be alone. The island and its surroundings have been declared a marine sanctuary to preserve biodiversity, including the countless turtles, dolphins, schools of carrangues and barracudas that live there. The listed dive sites are world-renowned and world-class (50 m drop-off). So it's easy to get there, either as part of a diving session, or as part of a day trip often combined with the iconic Virgin Island sandbar.
