SEWER MUSEUM
The grant pavilions at the Porte d'Anderlecht serve as an entrance to the brief overview of the 350 kilometres of sewers in Brussels.
The grant pavilions at the Porte d'Anderlecht provide access to the brief glimpse into the bowels of the city you're visiting, as Brussels has 350 km of sewers! The history of the river, the work of men and the city's water cycle are presented in a fairly recent, interactive museum. The Musée des Égouts benefits from the talents of street artist Sozyone and our national Frédéric Jannin! The only one of its kind alongside the one in Paris, the Brussels museum is housed in two listed buildings. Rubber boots and torchlight recommended.
