This unique experience allows visitors to discover the railroads in a brand new building connected to the city as much as to the railways. Visitors are transported from the very first steam locomotives to high-speed trains! The museography appeals to all the senses to grasp the subject in its multiple dimensions. Numerous objects and documents, but above all equipment built in Belgium. The "Pays de Waes" and the "Type 12", luxurious passenger carriages, the epic of the postal train and a driving simulator are among the jewels in the crown.

Opening time and information on WORLD TRAIN
10am-5pm (last entry: 3:30pm). Closed on Mondays, 25/12 and 01/01. 15 €. Free for children under 5 years old. 6-17 years old 11 €, 4-5 years old : 5 €. Family : 45 €.
Owner's Message
This vast interactive museum retraces the history of Belgian rail transport through a well thought-out scenography. You can admire 5 steam locomotives, including the oldest preserved steam locomotive in Europe, the Pays de Waes, and the sublime Type 12 Atlantic. You can also visit two Belgian royal carriages, a postal carriage and a luxurious passenger carriage. Those who are curious or passionate about instruments, utility objects, models and works of art related to the train will be won over. The museum regularly organizes temporary exhibitions and a treasure hunt, allowing visitors to enjoy a unique and remarkable museum experience. A wonderful time to spend with family and friends!
